Georgian American University is announcing a competition for the Erasmus+ exchange program funded by the European Commission to Mykolas Romeris University, Lithuania! Within the framework of the program, successful candidates will be able to obtain funding and study for one semester (in the Fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year).
Terms for participation:
- Undergraduate students of Business and Law Schools who are in the second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth semesters of their studies, and graduate students of the same faculties who are in the second and third semesters of their studies.
- A prerequisite is English B2
- Only citizens of the following countries are eligible to participate: Georgia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Canada, China, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Moldova, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, the Philippines, Republic of South Africa, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, the USA, Vietnam.
- According to paragraph 4 of Article 492 of the Law of Georgia on Amendments to the “Law on Higher Education” it is not allowed to suspend the student status of a student participating in an exchange educational program. and pay the semester fee at the Georgian-American University.
Funding terms:
- Free tuition;
- Scholarship to cover accommodation and living expenses – 550 euros per month;
- Selected candidates should cover travel and Visa expenses, and any other additional costs they might need while living in Lithuania (e.g. library membership, student union fees, etc.) themselves.
Documentation required from students:
- Copy of biometric passport;
- CV European format (in English, no more than two pages);
- Notice of student status (official document in English);
- Official academic records (official document in English;
- English language certificate (international certificate, or a certificate confirming knowledge of the subject passed at GAU – at least B2 level of English).
